Dovecotes are pure ornamental buildings, which appear next to noble houses.
The are usually located in high places, protected from the wind and without trees in their surrondings, to prevent birds of prey.
There are two of them in Corcubion: one in Campo de San Antonio and the other in Agra da Ribeira.
They are cylindrical and a little door. The part under the roof has holes to let pigeons move in and out.
